The following stories were written by Jecel Assumpcao Jr purely for fun, so don't expect anything better than the typical internet "fan fiction".

Star Trek - Untitled

This was intended as a serial novel to amuse my sister, Priscila, while she was living in the USA in the late 80s. I had planned send a new chapter along with each letter, but never got past the first one as my Mac unceremoniously chomped up the second chapter. I never could find the time to rewrite it, but I don't like to quit.

Fortunately, she found something much better to amuse her - a totally new Star Trek series! Meanwhile, back in Brazil, I had but a few glimpses into what The Next Generation was all about, so this story is set firmly in the world of The Original Series. The chapters flow less smoothly into one another than they should since a serial novel should leave the reader sweating until the next month (or week, whatever). Also, the first chapter is short and fast paced to emulate the "teaser" start in each TV series episode.

Short Stories

These were inspired on the original "Twilight Zone" series, though I actually have seen just a few of its episodes. It is interesting that I came up with these stories, since their theme is one that I don't particularly like. Maybe I just wanted to see if I could.

Parody

Poking fun at traditional stories is one of the most popular pastimes on the internet. Having long been the domain of serious hackers (not in the popular press sense of the word) it isn't surprising that many of these parodies are highly technical, as is this one.

Poetry

I have written some of it, all of it bad. Which is why you should be thankful that I will put none of it here!
